We have baby corn!! I am so excited! Last year our corn did not survive this long - but that is another story (you may want to ask Kirk about that!)
We have Bodacious Sweet Yellow corn, Oaxacan Green, and Smoke Signals corn with cobs forming and Strawberry Popcorn growing steadily! Much of the corn is now over 6 feet tall.
Here are a couple of photos of my little green tomatoes, Romas in the first picture and Cherokee Purple in the second. So far, much to the little boy's disappointment, no tomato worms! Last year we went out each morning and used water guns to shoot the worms off into a bucket of soapy water. If we don't get worms soon, we may have to find another target!
Chocolate bell peppers:
Now if they only tasted like chocolate!
Watermelon, growing, growing...gone! (cause we LOVE watermelon!)
This is a Black Diamond Watermelon for my husband - you're welcome honey!
I am a Mom. That is my definition of me. I am Mom to four loud, busy, creative, strong-willed children. My husband is my very best friend and thankfully, just as strongwilled as our kids! Our house is loud, and I mean really loud, and disorganized, but always interesting. We homeschool, craft, play in the dirt alot, and love to travel!
