Fit Mommy Friday 10 Week Challenge, Week 2

Yippee! This week I am actually glad to write this post. I met one of my goals for the week!
My goals were:
1. To add another day of exercise to my current routine starting with 10 minutes that day.
2. Lose 10 lbs by the end of the 10 weeks.

I did 10 extra minutes of exercise this week!! Yay!

I was very proud of myself because this week my schedule changed a lot and I had a hard time adjusting. I know 10 minutes isn't doesn't sound like much, but it is the only exercise I do by myself. There wasn't my personal trainer to push me or tell me what to do, or a friend to encourage me. This was big for me.

I haven't weighed myself, so I don't know if I've lost anything, but I'll try to check that before next week.

2010 Gratitude Challenge November 5

I am thankful that we live in the country. I enjoy the peace and quiet, the dark nights (no streetlights), and the room to run and play.

2010 Gratitude Challenge November 4

I am thankful for MT. He is four years old today. He is a ball of energy - sometimes fierce, sometimes sweeter than you can imagine. He brings all of us great joy and lots of laughter!

Colorful Veggies!

Maggie's Birthday Cake

I am thankful for color. I am in awe of the amazing displays of color God created - From the hundreds of greens in one tree to the pinks and yellows of lantana, colorful potatoes, and the gorgeous blue of the sky. I am even thankful for the artificial colors in Maggie's cake!

2010 Gratitude Challenge November 2

Today I am grateful for my husband. He is my very best friend. I love that he is my opposite in many ways and that we balance each other so well.

2010 Gratitude Challenge November 1

I will start off the month by saying I am thankful that I live in a free country. I am grateful that I have the right to vote, the right to home school my children, and the right to worship as I choose.
What are you thankful for? Post your gratitude and link it to the 2010 Gratitude Challenge at Garden of Learning. (You can also click on the blog button on the left side of the screen)

2010 Gratitude Challenge

I am joining Brenda over at Garden of Learning for the 2010 Gratitude Challenge.

Brenda's challenge:
"For each day during the month of November, post about something you are thankful for. It can be anything at all. Just as long as you write a post that is filled with Gratitude and a Thankful heart. Post everyday. That means 30 posts. It can be something big or small. You can post a picture or not. It can be a wordless post. Just share something you are grateful for in your life."

I will see you tomorrow with my first Gratitude post!
